If we are to get elected, we need our own column on the voting slip, so we need to form a political Party. This is due to the nature of the Hare Clark System where independents are rarely elected. We need at least 100 members. There is no cost or membership fee. You must be an ACT resident to be a member and you cannot be a member of another political party.
Names & information will only be known to Peter, Ann and the party Secretary. Elections ACT will use this information to verify the authenticity of the list. When finished, they either return or delete the list.
